Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Associate at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

  • Delivering Exceptional Customer Experiences: Engage with customers, resolve issues, and answer questions to ensure a positive experience. Model and share customer service best practices with team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
  • Providing Efficient Checkout Service: Register sales on assigned cash register, provide customers with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
  • Merchandising and Inventory Management: Keep counters and shelves clean and well-merchandised, take inventory, and maintain records. Check in and price merchandise as required or as directed by store manager or communicated by the shift leader.
  • Asset Protection and Compliance: Implement Company asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss. Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products.
  • Display and Visual Merchandising: Construct and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise. Complete resets and revisions as directed.
  • Customer Service in the Photo Area: Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print and creative machine, suggestive sell of promotional photo products.
  • Web Pick-up and Special Assignments: Assume web pick-up responsibilities, monitor orders, fill orders, and deliver orders to customers. Assist with exterior and interior maintenance by ensuring a clean, neat, and orderly store condition and appearance.
  • Training and Personal Development: Attend training and complete PPLs requested by Manager or assigned by corporate.

Essential Qualifications

* Customer Service Experience: 1+ year of customer service experience in a retail or service industry environment.

  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with customers and team members in a positive and professional manner.
  • Problem-Solving and Adaptability: Strong problem-solving and adaptability skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Teamwork and Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with team members to achieve common goals and objectives.
  • Basic Math and Cash Handling Skills: Basic math and cash handling skills, with the ability to accurately handle cash and operate a cash register.

Preferred Qualifications

* Retail or Service Industry Experience: 2+ years of experience in a retail or service industry environment.

  • Leadership or Supervisory Experience: Leadership or supervisory experience, with the ability to motivate and guide team members.
  • Training and Development Experience: Experience in training and development, with the ability to design and deliver training programs.
  • Technical Skills: Basic technical skills, with the ability to learn and operate various software and systems.
