This position will be part of our strategic partnership within the Financial Planning Systems space at arenaflex. This role will require a unique blend of financial and IT expertise.
Key Responsibilities
* Support and develop Financial Systems applications, as they apply to the Financial association, as well as serve as an internal advisor to those groups to identify automation opportunities and create/suggest suitable solutions.
- Uphold the Hyperion planning application, consistently, for forecast and actual financials.
- Approve the data from Hyperion Financial Management and from regulators.
- Explore and resolve issues with data, including divisional roll-ups and intercompany transactions.
- Uphold system maintenance; maintain client consents.
- Uphold clients with system issues, existing reports, forms, and models.
- Assist with preparation of detailed scenarios and analytical results examinations on various complex financial issues and competitive industry analyses.
- Facilitate and complete monthly headcount process regarding Hyperion.
- Refresh Hyperion Planning with order changes; coordinate progressive system changes with Regulators and GL organization.
- Communicate with work groups to determine reporting business needs; propose and present effective solutions.
- Create Essbase cubes, Planning Applications, Reports, as well as estimating and planning models for Financial divisions.
What you'll need for success
* Minimum Qualifications: + Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Data Systems, or equivalent experience/training. + 2 years of work experience in a Financial role, including experience with financial summaries, as well as financial modeling and analysis. + Strong IT foundation, including experience with Prophet and multi-dimensional and social database structures.
- Preferred Qualifications:
+ Experience using Hyperion, as well as development and organization experience (including Intelligent Detailing, Essbase, Planning). + Skills, Licenses, and Certifications: - Ability to adapt and be flexible in the use of analytical methods relating to financial issues. - Ability to issue, manage, and analyze data. - Meticulous with focus on precision and ability to prioritize tasks. - Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. - Strong communication skills. - Excellent collaboration skills with demonstrated ability to work effectively in diverse situations.
