Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Manager State & Higher Education to join our Southwest Business Department. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for coaching and professionally developing our Field Government Account Managers and designated portfolio management. You'll also play a critical role in increasing sales, establishing formal partnerships, and broadening awareness of our corporate travel programs and services to State, Local, and Higher Education managed travel accounts.
Key Responsibilities
* Coach and professionally develop Field Government Account Managers and designated portfolio management to achieve sales and revenue growth targets
- Identify and develop strategic partnerships with State, Local, and Higher Education managed travel accounts to increase sales and revenue
- Develop and implement sales strategies to broaden awareness of arenaflex's corporate travel programs and services
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Analyze sales data and market trends to inform business decisions and drive growth
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials and higher education institutions
- Identify and develop training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our sales organization
- Collaborate with the Manager State & Higher Education team to develop and implement business strategies
Essential Qualifications
* 5+ years of experience in sales, account management, or a related field
- Proven track record of success in sales and revenue growth
- Strong understanding of the managed travel industry and its key players
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to travel for training, meetings, and conferences (approximately 10-20% of the time)
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in the airline or travel industry
- Strong knowledge of sales and marketing principles
- Experience with CRM software and data analysis tools
- Ability to speak multiple languages
- Experience in a leadership or management role

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits
arenaflex offers a competitive compensation package, including:
- Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per year
- Bonus: up to 20% of annual salary
