At Sykes Cottages, we are experiencing a significant increase in bookings, due to a huge surge in demand for UK holidays and as such are growing our our fast-paced, business critical Operations department at our Chester head office with the best and brightest local talent! Joining our Call Centre, you will be joining our dedicated Reservations team, working alongside a team of experienced and passionate Live Chat Sales Expert responsible for finding Sykes customers their perfect holiday with every contact, sharing your great experiences and giving excellent service to our customers and using your skills to recommend products to enhance their holiday. You will be responsible for ensuring that every contact maximises income per booking, that the quality of the contact exceeds customer expectations and that all Company procedures are adhered to. The Web Support Expert must have a previous track record in sales within a target driven environment and have a passion for delivering outstanding results and giving our customers a fantastic journey throughout their experience with Sykes. We are looking for applicants who can deal professionally and efficiently with reservations queries and bookings. You will be responsible for finding Sykes customers their perfect holiday with every contact, sharing your great experiences and giving excellent service to our customers and using your skills to recommend products to enhance their holiday. As our newest Live Chat Sales Expert you will have the following key skills: Essential Experience - Previous experience of targeted sales - Strong negotiation skills - Excellent written communication skills - Proven track record in meeting/exceeding targets - IT literate with previous experience of customer databases and software programmes such as MS Office, Android, Tablets and Smartphones - Ability to recognise improvement areas and share these - Excellent judgement and decision making skills Desirable Experience: - Previous travel experience - Previous experience working with on-line chat
