Job Description

Career.zycto is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Online Membership Community Manager to join our dynamic team. As our Community Manager, you will be the heart of our digital presence, responsible for cultivating a thriving, engaging, and supportive environment for our members. Your primary mission will be to foster connection, facilitate meaningful interactions, and ensure our community remains a valuable resource for all. This involves a blend of strategic planning, content curation, event coordination, and direct member engagement. You will develop and implement community guidelines, moderate discussions, respond to member inquiries, and proactively identify opportunities to enhance the member experience. We are looking for someone who isn't just a moderator but a true community builder – someone who can inspire conversations, organize virtual meetups, and leverage data to understand member needs better. You’ll be instrumental in translating our company's mission into tangible, positive experiences for our members, ensuring they feel heard, valued, and connected. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive community engagement strategy to foster a vibrant and active online environment.
  • Actively moderate community discussions, ensuring adherence to guidelines and maintaining a positive, respectful atmosphere.
  • Create and curate engaging content (posts, polls, articles, videos) relevant to member interests and company objectives.
  • Organize and promote virtual events, webinars, workshops, and challenges to boost member interaction and value.
  • Monitor community metrics and provide regular reports on growth, engagement, and key insights to inform strategy.
  • Address member inquiries, feedback, and concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues as necessary.
  • Identify and cultivate community leaders and super-users, empowering them to contribute more effectively.
  • Collaborate with marketing, content, and product teams to align community activities with broader company goals.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, community management best practices, and new engagement tools.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience (2+ years) in online community management, social media management, or a related field.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a strong ability to adapt tone for different audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to build, engage, and retain online audiences.
  • Proficiency with community platforms and tools (e.g., Slack, Discord, Mighty Networks, Circle, dedicated forums).
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a remote environment.
  • Proactive problem-solver with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of analytics and experience using data to drive community strategy.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a flexible schedule.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience with content creation tools (Canva, basic video editing software).
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and email marketing platforms.
  • Previous experience working for a membership-based organization or subscription service.
