Medical Scribe and Patient Historian (Part-time or Full-Time)

The Medical Scribe and Patient Historian role involves collecting and organizing medical histories from patients to ensure accurate and complete medical records, supporting healthcare operations with structured processes and templates.
Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound phone calls with patients to collect detailed injury and medical histories
- Listen carefully and document information accurately using provided templates and systems
- Review existing medical records for completeness, clarity, and internal consistency
- Clean up and standardize medical information so it meets quality standards
- Ensure patient histories are complete, consistent, and easy for physicians to understand
- Review your work for accuracy before submission
- Follow defined workflows and work expectations
- Work closely with the operations team to continuously improve quality
Skills

- Follow structured processes carefully
- Are interested in healthcare exposure, especially if you are premed, public health, nursing, or exploring healthcare careers
- Previous experience in medical scribing or administrative healthcare roles
- Strong interest in healthcare or medicine
- Comfort learning new software and tools
