They are seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer II to join the Wealth Data Team, focusing on building and maintaining a sustainable wealth data application and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Help build and maintain a sustainable wealth data application, focusing on advisory investment products and processes
- Developing and maintaining data applications
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Ensuring the scalability and sustainability of our wealth solutions
- Mentor new team members
- Communicate clearly to the business
- Develops new integrations with APIs and incorporates event-driven design
- Lead automation efforts & champion unit test code coverage
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- 1-3 years professional experience required
- Must have at least 2 year experience with specific technical requirements/platforms (SQL, Python, cloud technologies such as AWS, Databricks, Spark, Distributed File Systems, CI/CD, and scheduling tools like Control-M)
- Familiarity using continuous integration and deployment concepts and SDLC
- Data Engineering and Data Warehousing knowledge
- Understanding of Investments Data domain
- Mentor new team members
- Can communicate clearly to the business
- Atleast 1 year of experience in NodeJS, React, Kubernetes, Docker & SonarQube
- Develops new integrations with APIs and incorporates event-driven design
- Lead automation efforts & champion unit test code coverage
- Unix/Linux, ETL, AWS & BI Tool
- Understanding of building applications using Java
- Production Batch support Experience
