Distinguished Engineers are expected to lead through technical contribution. You will specialize in a particular subject area, but your input and impact will be sought and expected throughout the organization. In this role, you will define and drive the technical strategy for Server-Driven UI Frameworks, Platforms and Developer Experience Tooling and workflows that powers cross-platform user experiences across mobile and web. Capital One is open to hiring a Remote Employee for this opportunity. Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree
• At least 9 years of experience in Software engineering and solution architecture
• At least 2 years in Cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in Software engineering and solution architecture
• 10+ years of professional experience coding in commonly used languages like Java, Python, Go, JavaScript/TypeScript, Swift, Kotlin.
• 10+ years of professional experience in the full lifecycle of system development, from conception through architecture, implementation, testing, deployment and production support
• 5+ years of experience designing and building an end-to-end SDUI platform, from the client rendering engines to the backend services.
• 5+ years of deep experience in client-side architecture for mobile (iOS/Android) including the design of shared SDKs or frameworks.
• 3+ years of experience with public or private cloud technologies

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
