Job Summary The Elite Job is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Virtual College Admissions Advisor to join our growing team. As a Virtual College Admissions Advisor, you will guide students through application procedures, help them select programs, and provide expert advice on enhancing their application.

Key Responsibilities

• * Provide personalized virtual counseling to prospective students, assisting them in the application process for colleges and universities in Canada.
• * Review and assess students academic backgrounds and recommend appropriate courses or programs based on their interests, qualifications, and career goals.
• * Guide students in preparing their application materials, including personal statements, resumes, recommendation letters, and other necessary documents.
• * Offer advice on scholarships, financial aid, and deadlines to ensure students submit competitive applications.
• * Respond promptly to student inquiries and follow up on pending applications to ensure timely submission.
• * Organize virtual workshops or information sessions to educate students about the admissions process.
• * Stay up-to-date with the latest college admissions trends, criteria, and policies in Canada to provide accurate guidance.
• * Maintain records of student interactions, applications, and progress within the companys CRM system.
• Required Skills and Qualifications
• * Bachelors degree in Education, Counseling, Business Administration, or a related field.
• * Previous experience in academic advising, college admissions counseling, or a similar role is preferred.
• * Strong knowledge of the college admissions process in Canada, including an understanding of various university programs, scholarships, and application requirements.
• * Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• * Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• * Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with students from diverse backgrounds.
• * Proficient in using virtual communication tools (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.) and CRM systems.
• * High level of organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience
• * A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in college admissions counseling, academic advising, or a related field.
• * Experience in a virtual or remote work environment is an asset.
• * Previous experience working with students from international backgrounds or assisting with cross-border admissions is a plus.
• Working Hours
• * Full-time, remote position.
• * Flexible working hours, with some availability required during evenings or weekends based on student needs and time zone differences.
• * Standard working hours: 9 AM 6 PM (Monday to Friday), with flexibility for virtual meetings.
