The Role

As a Customer Care Agent at blithequark, you'll be working with our customers over the phone, on live chat, and through email, with the opportunity to create raving fans for our company every single day. You'll be part of a team-oriented, positive environment where we work hard to always move forward, but also make time for fun and creativity. We're looking for team members who are highly motivated, flexible, and adventurous, with the ability to work independently to solve unique problems and think outside the box.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide exceptional customer service to our customers over the phone, on live chat, and through email

  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Work collaboratively with our team to achieve sales goals and provide a positive customer experience
  • Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and company information to provide accurate and helpful responses to customers
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics and sales targets
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve customer issues and improve overall customer satisfaction

Essential Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred

  • 1-2 years of customer service experience in a call center or retail environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with CRM software

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience working in a live chat or customer service environment

  • Knowledge of the lighting industry or related products
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills
  • Experience with sales or sales-related activities
  • Familiarity with CRM software and other customer service tools

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits:

* Competitive hourly rate of $16.00/hour, with a $1/hour increase after 60-day provisional period

  • Quarterly bonus and commissions on product sales
  • Flexible full-time schedules available during our customer service hours of 8 am - 6 pm, Monday through Friday
