Job Responsibilities and Expectations
As a Network Protection Examiner Understudy, your responsibilities and expectations will include:
- Working with business clients to conduct needs analysis related to systems and business processes to provide quality technical solutions
- Ensuring solutions are aligned with internal tooling, business processes, and compliance with departmental standards
- Managing timelines for planning, coding, testing, and implementation to ensure solutions are delivered on time and within budget
- Acting as a resource to ensure effective communication between business and Innovation teams
- Participating in system and acceptance testing
- Scope of work varies depending on the team project
Information, Skills, Work Style, and Abilities
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required
- Fundamental knowledge of data security and risk management standards, theories, and practices liked
- Experience or exposure to Proofpoint PhishAlarm liked
- Experience or knowledge of ServiceNow Administration, Risk and Compliance (GRC) liked
- Essential knowledge of business analysis, process modeling, and improvement liked
- Major understanding of project management systems, including the ability to design, manage, and maintain a complex, organization-wide program liked
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with all levels within the organization, including both technical and non-technical stakeholders liked
- Fundamental knowledge of technical environment required
- Openness to Lithe philosophies liked
- Coursework or experience related to Network protection liked
- Ability to remain organized and manage multiple and simultaneous tasks under tight deadlines
- Past investigator entry-level position experience within the past year liked
- Experience tackling business issues in a capstone or case competition liked
- Ability to work in a culture that is open, direct, conscious, gracious, and empathetic
- Fast learner, self-motivated, team-oriented, with a sense of humor
