As a Customer Engagement Specialist, Inbound, you will be responsible for:- Managing large amounts of incoming phone calls with accuracy and efficiency
- Identifying and assessing customers' needs to achieve satisfaction
- Building sustainable relationships and trust with customers through open and interactive communication
- Providing accurate, valid, and complete information by using the right methods/tools
- Meeting personal/team sales targets and call handling quotas
- Keeping accurate records of customer interactions and account-related information
Key Responsibilities
Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:- Acting as a liaison between customers and our team to resolve issues and provide product/service information
- Collaborating with colleagues to resolve complex customer issues and provide solutions
- Providing exceptional customer service through active listening, empathy, and effective communication
- Upselling and cross-selling products/services to meet sales targets and drive revenue growth
- Managing multiple customer interactions simultaneously, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:- A minimum of 12 months call center experience, with a focus on upselling and customer service
- Strong phone contact handling skills, active listening, and effective communication
- Strong knowledge of computer systems and software, with the ability to learn new tools and technologies
- Customer orientation, adaptability, and the ability to respond to different types of characters
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to type 40 wpm or more
- Strong reading comprehension and basic math skills
- Ability to take on additional tasks as needed and adapt to changing priorities
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications would be beneficial:- Experience working in a remote or virtual environment
- Knowledge of CRM software and customer relationship management principles
- Experience with sales and customer service metrics, such as sales targets and customer satisfaction scores
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
