The Role

As a Part-Time Remote Area Manager at blithequark, you will be responsible for leading a team of hourly workforce and driving operational excellence in our fulfillment network. You will be the face of blithequark in your area, responsible for ensuring that customer orders are delivered at the right time, to the right location, and with the highest levels of safety, quality, and performance. You will work closely with various support teams, including Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources, to develop plans to meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities and Job Elements

* Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce to achieve exceptional performance and customer satisfaction

• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises to ensure operational excellence
• Collaborate with all support teams to develop plans to meet business objectives
• Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
• Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts
• Work in an environment where the noise level varies and can be loud
• Work in an environment that is subject to variable temperatures and weather (delivery stations include outside loading departments)
• Continuously climb and descend stairs (applies to sites with stairs)

Estimated Salary and Benefits

* Estimated salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications

Requirements and Qualifications

* 2+ years of experience in a leadership or management role, preferably in a customer-facing or operational environment

• Proven track record of driving business results and improving operational efficiency
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a warehouse or fulfillment center environment

• Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures
• Experience working with a team to achieve business objectives
• Familiarity with blithequark's products and services
• Bilingual or multilingual skills
