About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Virtual Customer Service Associate to join our team at blithequark. As a member of our Customer Experience team, you will play a vital role in helping people every day by taking calls, actively listening to understand customers' needs, and answering their questions. Your excellent customer service and communication skills will help us create positive experiences for our members. Key Responsibilities

• Answer incoming phone calls throughout scheduled shift, assisting customers with healthcare claims and enrollment
• Develop a good rapport with callers, providing a warm and friendly approach to customer service
• De-escalate and manage difficult calls, remaining professional and level-headed at all times
• Provide consistent, high-quality customer support, utilizing excellent listening skills, research, and attention to detail
• Navigate multiple applications on a single call, quickly transitioning from one task to another
• Utilize dual monitors and demonstrate proficiency with keyboard shortcuts and excellent communication skills
• Maintain a minimum typing speed of 25 WPM and adhere to HIPAA requirements, working in a private, dedicated, distraction-free, and quiet workspace

Essential Qualifications

• 1+ year of call center experience, with a strong background in customer service
• High school diploma or GED, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, navigating multiple tasks and applications simultaneously
• Strong navigation skills, with the ability to quickly transition from one task to another
• Proficient with dual monitors and keyboard shortcuts, with a minimum typing speed of 25 WPM
• Must reside in the US and have a reliable internet connection, with a minimum speed of 25MBPS download and 5MBPS upload

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a remote or virtual environment, with a strong understanding of HIPAA requirements
• Experience working with healthcare claims and enrollment, with a strong knowledge of medical terminology
• Bi-lingual or multi-lingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers from diverse backgrounds
• Previous experience working with dual monitors and keyboard shortcuts, with a strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Training and Development

At blithequark, we are committed to providing our team members with the training and development opportunities they need to succeed. As a Virtual Customer Service Associate, you will be required to complete a mandatory 4-week paid training program, with 100% attendance. The training program will be held Monday through Friday, from 9:00am to 5:30pm EST, and will cover a range of topics, including customer service skills, HIPAA requirements, and navigation of our systems and applications.

Equipment and Workspace Requirements

• Two (2) 22" monitors, with a video adaptor and a reliable internet connection
• A private, dedicated, distraction-free, and quiet workspace, with a lockable door and a secure location for storing sensitive information
• A US-based internet service provider, with a minimum speed of 25MBPS download and 5MBPS upload
• A hardwired internet connection, with no wireless connectivity available

Compensation and Benefits

At blithequark, we offer a competitive compensation package, with a pay rate of $14.50 per hour. This is a W2 (employee) position, with bi-weekly pay via direct deposit. We also offer a range of benefits, including paid training, paid time off, and opportunities for career advancement. As a Virtual Customer Service Associate, you will be eligible for all mandatory events, including orientation, training, and nesting, and will be paid for your time.
