About the Role
We're seeking a Senior iOS Engineer to join our Lead Mobile team, where you'll play a critical role in shaping the future of our guest-facing mobile applications. As a Senior iOS Engineer, you'll be responsible for developing high-quality, scalable, and maintainable iOS applications that delight our guests and drive business success.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality iOS applications that meet our guests' evolving needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product and Design, to drive the product vision and roadmap
- Establish and maintain best practices for iOS development, ensuring our codebase is efficient, scalable, and maintainable
- Investigate and adopt new technologies and trends in the retail and mobile space
- Work closely with the team to identify and prioritize technical debt, and develop strategies to address it
- Participate in code reviews, ensuring our codebase meets our high standards for quality and maintainability
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, ensuring that our knowledge and expertise are shared across the team
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 4+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on iOS development
- 3+ years of experience developing iOS applications, with a strong understanding of Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit
- Experience with test-driven development and automated testing
- Strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug complex issues
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with modular application architecture, frameworks, and build pipelines
- Deep knowledge of Apple technologies, tools, and frameworks
- Experience with SwiftUI and Combine
- Experience with secure authentication using OAuth and authentication tokens
- Experience with design and implementation of analytics solutions
- Experience with Agile methodologies and iterative development
