Key Responsibilities

• Analyze student activity within discussions and assessments and choose the appropriate responses based on training and input from the master instructor.
• Accurately use the right type of responses based upon training and input from the master instructor.
• Assist in managing generic student communications and utilize online learning platform (Blackboard) to communicate with students.
• Escalate unique issues to the master instructor and assist with grading.
• Monitor engagement levels and provide recommendations on the best approach on how to increase engagement.
• Adhere to university policies and procedures and perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following essential qualifications:

• A Master's degree in Economics from an accredited institution is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in an Economics-related field is required.
• Previous teaching experience with adult learners is required, and experience in online education is highly desirable.
• Candidates must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong computer skills, and the ability to lead group discussions.
• Strong mental acuity, sound judgment, and the ability to manage potentially stressful situations in a professional and ethical manner are essential.

Preferred Qualifications
