This role offers an exciting opportunity to design and implement enterprise-grade cloud solutions in a dynamic, mission-driven environment. As a US Solution Architect, you will lead the architecture of scalable, secure, and high-performance applications on AWS, working closely with stakeholders across engineering, product, and business teams. You will guide best practices in cloud-native architecture, infrastructure as code, and automation while ensuring compliance with industry standards. This position provides a hands-on opportunity to shape enterprise cloud strategies, mentor engineering teams, and influence technical decisions that impact large-scale solutions. Accountabilities:

  • Architect and implement end-to-end cloud solutions for enterprise applications using AWS services.
  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of solutions with services such as EC2, Lambda, Step Functions, SQS, Cognito, OpenSearch, S3, Quicksight, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, and Glue.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, product managers, and engineering teams to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and architectural guidance to engineering teams.
  • Drive adoption of best practices in infrastructure as code, CI/CD, automation, and security.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, including HIPAA and HITRUST, particularly for U.S. Healthcare applications.
  • Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to enhance solution delivery and reliability.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in software architecture and enterprise solution design.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, Lambda, Step Functions, SQS, Cognito, OpenSearch, S3, Quicksight, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, Glue).
  • Strong programming skills in TypeScript, Python, and Node.js.
  • Deep understanding of cloud-native architectures, event-driven systems, microservices, and serverless computing.
  • Expertise in cloud security best practices and infrastructure as code (IaC).
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or Associate with significant enterprise experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing decisions at all organizational levels.
