Key Responsibilities:
As an Experienced Principal Data Scientist, you will be responsible for:
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy AI and machine learning models that drive business growth and improve visitor experiences
- Leading the development of data-driven solutions that meet business requirements and drive business outcomes
- Working with data engineers and scientists to design, implement, and maintain data pipelines and data warehouses
- Developing and maintaining data visualizations and reports to communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders
- Collaborating with data analysts and business stakeholders to identify business opportunities and develop data-driven solutions
- Leading the development of predictive models, clustering, image recognition, NLP, anomaly detection, and other machine learning techniques
- Collaborating with data engineers to productionize machine learning models and assess their performance on real-world datasets
- Working with data scientists to develop and maintain data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes
- Collaborating with data analysts to develop and maintain data visualizations and reports
- Leading the development of data-driven solutions that meet business requirements and drive business outcomes
Required Capabilities and Abilities:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 2+ years of experience in Python and predictive modeling, including experience with TensorFlow, SparkMLib, PySpark, Light, MXNet, and other machine learning frameworks
- 2+ years of experience in cloud platforms, including AWS and GCP
- Proficiency in SDLC, QA cycles, and Agile development methodologies
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience with data engineering tools, including data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes
- Experience with version control systems, including Git and GitHub
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams
- Experience with data visualization tools, including Tableau, Power BI, and D3.js
- Experience with data quality and data governance practices
Preferred Capabilities:
* Experience with Docker and containerization
- Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration
- Experience with cloud platforms, including GCP and other cloud providers
- Experience with Atlassian tools, including Jira and Confluence
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and Scrum
- Experience with automated testing, continuous integration, and continuous deployment
- Experience with data representation and data validation tools, including Splunk and Plotly
- Experience with sound analysis and text analysis tools
Education:
* Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
- Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field (desired)
